ARTIST BIO
I began drawing during my sophomore year of high school, focusing on graphite portraits. I was then introduced to different mediums such as oil paint, acrylic, water color, and oil pastel. On my own, I worked with mixed media.
In 2016, I participated in an internship with an art teacher from a local elementary school and with her guidance, I realized I wanted to professionally join the art industry to which I applied to North Carolina State University with an Art and Design major. After a couple of years in college, I grew an interest in digital illustration and expanded this interest to animation, which then became my concentration. I graduated from North Carolina State University in the spring of 2021.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Growing up, I was always scared of living a 9-5 life. I didn't want my life to revolve around a job IÂ didn't love while I spent my days worrying about the money I didn't have. With my art, I am able to create a world that revolves around my imagination. I enjoy highlighting the simple and fleeting moments of life that we often take for granted. My work is often times colorful, child-like, and has a fairytale theme to it. These fantasies take me away from a stressful reality and I hope to provide an escape for those who view my art as well.
